Virtual Display

Hi, some of you may remember back in the Summer I did a virtual display with about a dozen of my mowers ( I attach a couple of photos of that )  a couple of members posted some very kind comments and I said I would try and extricate another few from my overcrowded workshop the next opportunity I had. There wasn't much interest at the time and as there might be a break in the wet weather this weekend I thought I might get another dozen out and post some more photos. It will be quite a task to shuffle things around and get them out. I will only do this if enough of you are interested. If not I totally understand ( I can hear the yawns now ) and they can stay in a nice dry place.

Hi Messorestore. WOW! Lovely

Hi Messorestore. WOW! Lovely lot of mowers you have there. I would like to see more of your collection please. You saying it is a quite a task to shuffle things around to get them out, I only have 2 small lawns so push mowers are what I have and there are 9 of them in my 8' x 6' shed, so I know what you mean!! The photo attached shows my shed in which there are, honestly! an ATCO 1264, JPs Mini Mower, Minor and Matchless, Webbs Minature, Whippet, Witch, 2 Speed and Windsor oh yes,and a Shoe Horn!! Looking forward to seeing more of your collection if you decide to fish some more out. Cheers. Rob

Sean

You should definitely do it, time and weather permitting. Don't worry about people not asking beforehand - they are more likely to react when you do it.

Hi RansomesRob. Your shed is

Hi RansomesRob. Your shed is definitely a Tardis. How on Earth do you pack that lot in there ? My workshop is 20'x 22' and is just as bad, I've even made a mezzanine :)   I'm having another built at the moment and will hopefully be finished for next summer. I'm going to dedicate the new one to mower display only, so hopefully that should help things. Unfortunately I've found the more storage space you have the more you seem to accumulate and end up in the same position again lol.

Hi Sean. Handles off on most

Hi Sean. Handles off on most of them, mower bodies on top of each other, grass boxes on top of one another but I am at capacity now. As you say the more space you have the more stuff you cram in. I am going to sort out some wooden storage units purpose built to just store the mowers in the Spring. I do keep saying to myself 'That's it, no more, there is no where to store them', but, I can resist everything but temptation!!

Hahaha very true. Strange

Hahaha very true. Strange thing is I'm addicted. I always say ' today is yesterday's tomorrow' so I never get round to sorting things out.

Excellent Sean, whilst we all

Excellent Sean, whilst we all dream of massive amounts of space so we can easily display & walk around our mowers, It just wouldn't be the same we just love bashing shins, tripping over front rollers, catching handles in you shirt or jacket,  I thought after adding 2 more shipping containers things would change but I'm still cramped !!! One day.

That’s a super impressive

That’s a super impressive collection and having a 20” x 22” workshop I’m very envious :-)

My shed is 10”x 8” and have very little room left for any more lawnmowers :-(
