Mower History an interesting insight

Hello all

You may well have seen my book on the website home page, but I know some go direct to the forums so I thought I would add a note here, as it directly relates to Lawn Mower history.

The book tells the story of the Lawn Mowers invention in 1830 and its impact & development since, also my involvement and research from joining this great club to forming a charity & opening a museum.

All profits I receive from the sale will go direct to our charity for young people, this only applies to copies direct from me, other outlets will only generate a few pence for the charity, your support much appreciated.

I have just ordered Clive's book direct from his charity. Looking forward to reading it over Christmas.

I got mine yesterday morning; a good read with some good snippets of information throughout the book.

I received my copy this morning - quick look but very impressed with both the content and presentation. Nice to have “our interests” well researched and presented in a quality  hard cover  format.

Thank you Clive, excellent presentation and quality, a wonderful read. Couldn't put it down.

Just read the review in the Grassbox and duly ordered a copy.

Noted the comments on the lack of Unicorn's editorial diligence, then on the very next page re Tony Brooke's restoration article, the opening line "As with to learning to ride a bicycle"

Made me smile :-)....
